    Warren Participating in USA Volleyball Tryouts

    COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Seton Hall senior Alyssa Warren (Joliet, Ill.) has been invited to try out for the U.S. National Volleyball Team. Tryouts are being held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Feb. 21-23.

    In all, around 240 athletes will converge on Colorado Springs with hopes of joining the Women’s National Team. Products that have come out of the tryout include Kim Hill. Not only are athletes bidding for the WNT, the Collegiate National Team, formerly called the Senior A2 Team, will pull athletes for its program. Who will attend this event? Athletes who have concluded their college eligibility, collegiate athletes that conclude eligibility in 2014 and athletes born in 1996 and before.

    Warren is one of only eight participants from BIG EAST schools. Warren recently completed a legendary collegiate career at Seton Hall.

    The 5-foot-9 libero will graduate as the Pirates’ all-time digs leader with more than 2,000 career digs. A two-time BIG EAST Libero of the Year, she twice led the conference in digs and digs per game and was named to the All-Conference First Team in 2013.
