Band of Pirates will be airing Sunday, November 8th on ESPN Classic at 8EST. The 2008-09 season marks the 20th anniversary of the Seton Hall men's basketball team's memorable run to the 1988-89 NCAA championship game.  A team to be forever remembered as the squad that heralded Seton Hall's arrival as a big-time force in college basketball.

The season remains the most successful in school history, and catapulted Seton Hall into the national athletic consciousness.  As a result, the season remains one of the most astonishing college basketball campaigns of any school in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area.

The memories of the team are vivid for alumni and others who lived through the run to the title game.  To mark the occasion, "Band of Pirates - The story of Seton Hall's magical ride to the NCAA National Championship game", a documentary film commemorating the team, their story and their achievements.
