Brian Poll assumed his role as Assistant Director of Recreational Services in August 2008, returning to Seton Hall after amassing extensive experience within the athletic department during his time as a student. As an undergraduate, Poll volunteered in the Seton Hall marketing department before continuing his work after graduation as a Graduate Assistant for Recreational Services.
In his current capacity, Poll handle balances a myriad of responsibilities. Poll plays a prominent role in managing SHU's club sports program, overseeing aspects ranging from budgets, scheduling, travel coordination and the hiring of coaches and staff members. Poll has a similarly large hand in the coordination of an expansive Seton Hall intramural offering, spearheading the program's marketing efforts while also handling staffing and constructing league schedules. Poll also serves as the membership director for the Richie Regan Athletic Center and the assistant director of the annual Pirate Sports Camp. Apart from Seton Hall, Poll is an active member of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association and serves on the competition committee for the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association. A 2005 graduate of Seton Hall with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, Poll continued his education at SHU and went on to earn a Master of Arts in corporate and public communication in 2007. |
