Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing & Promotions, Kelly O'Neil is in her second year at Seton Hall, coming to South Orange in October, 2011 after spending a year as the assistant to the athletic director at Iona College. 

In her current capacity, O'Neil handles a wide-ranging set of responsibilities that encompasses all facets of SHU Athletics' marketing initiatives for its 14 varsity programs. Most notably, she spearheaded a complete overhaul of the Seton Hall Athletics presence on the prominent social media platforms; Facebook and Twitter.

Additionally, O'Neil is charged with directing the game day operations and promotional activities at home athletics events. She also assists with the development and activation of corporate sponsorship partnerships, as well as creating and overseeing grassroots campaigns aimed at increasing fan support and involvement within the Seton Hall community.

While at Iona, she worked closely with the Athletic Director in managing day-to-day operations and served as the travel coordinator for the Gaels' 21 Division I teams. Soon after joining the Pirates, she completed the M.B.A. program at IC, earning a degree in marketing with an advanced certificate in sports and entertainment management.

A 2008 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in English, O'Neil left a legacy as one of the top softball players in Crusader history. A four year starter and two-time team captain, she completed her career as the program's single season and career home run record holder, earning a spot on the Patriot League All-League First Team after her senior year. O'Neil was also a standout in the classroom and was named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team.
