Jim Semerad was named Seton Hall University's Director of Ticket Operations in September, 2011. Semerad originally came to the SHU Department of Athletics in August, 2006, serving one year as the Pirates' assistant ticket manager and four years as the ticket manager.

As the director of ticket operations, Semerad is responsible for managing the on-campus ticket office and all customer service requests and the Pirate Blue Priority Seating System.

He also works with the department's external relations staff to develop and implement men's and women's basketball ticket campaigns including sales plans, group and mini-plans and individual game sales. With Semerad serving as the ticket manager, the 2007-08 season, which was the inaugural campaign at the Prudential Center, was the highest single-season attendance for SHU basketball since 2000.

Semerad served as the tournament ticket manager for the 2011 NCAA East Regional, hosted by Seton Hall at the Prudential Center, which brought in 36,621 fans and was the top attended regional site that year.

Prior to coming to Seton Hall, Semerad worked as a media relations assistant and baseball operations intern with the New York Mets.

Semerad graduated from Seton Hall in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and concentration in Sport Management, and received his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Seton H all in 2011.

He currently resides in Hoboken, N.J., and also serves as Seton Hall's Club Lacrosse Coach, completing the team's inaugural season in 2011-12.
