In his second year as part of the Athletics Communications staff, Adam Satz is a recent graduate of Seton Hall University having earned a bachelor's degree with a concentration in sports management in 2011.

In his current role, Satz assists with publications and record keeping relating to all 14 of Seton Hall's varsity programs. He also serves as the primary volleyball, cross country, swimming & diving and tennis contact. He is also the secondary contact for the men's basketball and softball programs.

As a student, Satz came to SHU as a freshman transfer student from the University of Miami (FL) in hopes of joining the men's basketball program as a manager. He served within the program for the next three and a half years, performing various duties including supplemental scouting tasks and coordinating film exchange with other universities. As a junior and senior, Satz traveled with the team to all away contests.

In spring 2011, he was named the first-ever National Association of College Basketball Managers (NACBM) National Manager of the Year, beating out managers from Rice University, Elon University and a duo from Duke University in a voting-based competition with feature videos hosted on Facebook. By virtue of the award, which came due in large part to immense support from the Seton Hall community, SHU received a total donation of $15,000.

In addition to his involvement at Seton Hall, Satz has also worked for various basketball organizations and at a number of basketball camps. He also completed two stints as an intern for the Hudson Valley Renegades of the New York Penn League, the single-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

A native of the Bronx, Satz is a graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley, N.Y. While at M-W, he served as a boys' basketball manager for four years under the late Coach James Taravella.
