Now entering her 15^th year as a member of the Seton Hall Athletics Department, Loren Peterson was promoted to her current position of Assistant Athletics Director for Business Affairs in September of 2010.

Spanning her Pirates' career over two time periods, Peterson has served in a multitude of positions from equipment manager and ticket manager early in her tenure to most recently business manager.  Peterson arrived at Seton Hall in 1989, left in 1996, but returned in 2004 and has remained in South Orange since.

In her current role as assistant athletics director for business affairs, Peterson is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, managing the athletics department budget and serving as a liaison for the athletics department to the University's human resources and payroll offices.

Prior to her graduation from Adelphi University in 1985, Peterson played softball for the Panthers and guided her team to two College World Series appearances.  Today, she is the program administrator for Seton Hall softball.

Peterson has three children, Kevin, Jenn and Jordan, and currently resides in Whippany, N.J.
