Pirates rank second in the BIG EAST with 3.32 GPA.
Women's Swimming & Diving Named CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Team

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall University men's and women's swimming & diving programs were both named College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the Fall 2011 semester, it was announced Thursday, Feb. 23, by the association.

With a 3.2 cumulative grade point average the SHU men's swimming and diving team ranked second among the seven BIG EAST programs to earn the distinction and the Pirates' GPA stands as the 22nd highest in the nation.

The Seton Hall women's swimming & diving team held a 3.32 GPA last semester, which ranks second in the conference and 54th in the nation. A total of nine BIG EAST women's swimming & diving programs qualified as Scholar All-America teams.

In order to qualify for CSCAA Scholar All-America team honors a program must hold a minimum team grade point average of 3.0.
