Supporters of Seton Hall Athletics in the Berkeley Heights area had the opportunity to attend a Meet & Greet with Director of Athletcs Patrick Lyons and Men's Basketball Head Coach Kevin Willard on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Trap Rock Brewery and Restaurant in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
Over 30 friends and supporters of Seton Hall Athletics were on hand for an evening cocktail reception. All of those in attendance used the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with Seton Hall representatives.
"Our goal is to continue to build our fan base by creating a sense of pride for Seton Hall Athletics, said Lyons. "As we work to improve our program, the support of alumni and friends throughout our community is critical."
The event was organized by Pirate Blue supporter, Robert Kleppinger.
"As a long time member of the Berkeley Heights community and loyal Pirate fan and ticket holder, I wanted to do my part in recruiting others to help our program," Kleppinger said. "I am excited about the direction of Seton Hall Athletics and our new leadership with Pat and Kevin. This event was a great way to encourage others to support Pirate Blue and get involved."
"It's important to put a face with the program", Willard said. "I enjoy visiting with our alumni and fans to promote our athletics program and the basketball program. Their support will be a tremendous help to our team."
