The Pirates' conference schedule will include home and away contests with USF and St. John's University. Seton Hall will host USF on Tuesday, Jan. 22, and head to Tampa, Fla., on Saturday, Feb. 16. The Pirates will play at St. John's in a contest that will take place at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Jan. 12, and host the Red Storm in the regular season finale on Saturday, March 2.
Additionally Seton Hall will host Marquette on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Rutgers on Sunday, Jan. 27, Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 9, Villanova on Wednesday, Feb. 13 and Providence on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
The Pirates' six other road contests will see them travel to Cincinnati on Wednesday, Jan. 9, Georgetown on Saturday, Jan. 19, Syracuse on Wednesday, Jan. 30, DePaul on Wednesday, Feb. 6, Connecticut on Saturday, Feb. 23, and Louisville on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The contest between Georgetown and Seton Hall at McDonough Arena on Saturday, Jan. 19, in Washington, D.C., will be televised as the BIG EAST Network Game of the Week. The Pirate Sports Network will air all 16 of Seton Hall's home contests on www.shupirates.com.
The 2013 BIG EAST Championship will be held Friday-Tuesday, March 8-12, at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn.
The 2012-13 season opener will see the Pirates host NJIT on Friday, Nov. 9, at Walsh Gym, followed by a home contest against Lafayette on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Seton Hall embarks on a four-game road trip starting on Wednesday, Nov. 14, when it heads to Philadelphia, Pa., to face Temple. The Pirates then face Michigan in Ann Arbor on Monday, Nov. 19, and will compete in the Pepperdine Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 23-24, in Malibu, Calif.
Home games against Siena on Wednesday, Nov. 28, and South Carolina on Sunday, Dec. 2, will be followed by a trip to Winston Salem, N.C., and a battle with ACC foe Wake Forest on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The Pirates conclude their non-conference slate with four-straight home games at Walsh Gym as they host Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, Dec. 16, New Orleans on Wednesday, Dec. 19, Memphis on Saturday, Dec. 22, and Wofford on Sunday, Dec. 30.
