New Date Announced for Pirate Blue Beefsteak Tip-Off Dinner
The Pirate Blue Athletic Fund has changed the previously advised date for this year's annual Beefsteak Tip-Off Dinner and the event will now take place on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. The fourth annual dinner will once again be held in Walsh Gymnasium. Over 400 fans, alumni and friends attended last year and the event has sold out every year.
Formal invitations will be
mailed in August, but one way to reserve your spot early is by purchasing a
Half-Court Sponsorship, which guarantees you a table of nine and the
opportunity to sit with a member of the women's or men's basketball team. Your name will also be included in all
promotional material including the event invitation and Pirate Blue website along with being displayed at the dinner.
Becoming a Half-Court sponsor is an excellent way to support Pirate Blue and
will ensure your spot for this year's dinner.
Sponsorships can be purchased for $1,600 (tax deduction $1,300) by

for this year's Beefsteak Dinner is $80 per person and $800 for a table of
ten.

The Pirate Blue Beefsteak event
has become a signature annual event amongst the Pirate faithful. Pirate fans have the opportunity to meet
Athletics Director, Patrick Lyons while also hearing a season preview from
Coach Donovan and Coach Willard. A
highlight for all in attendance is the chance to also spend time with members
of both the women's and men's basketball programs, as in years past student-athletes
are seated with Pirate Blue members and alumni throughout the dining area.
The evening features an extensive silent auction with a variety of items
including, vacations, golf foursomes, memorabilia and unique Seton Hall Pirate experiences.
