Patrik Auda and Seton Hall will face Louisville, Marquette, Providence and Rutgers twice in 2012-13.
MBB BIG EAST Opponents Announced

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The BIG EAST Conference unveiled the 2012-13 men's basketball opponents matrix for each of its member schools on Thursday.  For a sixth straight season, each school will play 18 conference games.  Due to the defection of West Virginia, each team will face 12 opponents once and four teams twice.  Seton Hall will face Louisville, Marquette, Providence and Rutgers both on the road and at home next season.

Seton Hall's nine BIG EAST home games include Connecticut and Louisville for a second consecutive year.  The Pirates ended an 11-game losing streak to UConn with a 75-63 win at the Prudential Center last year.  Additional home games include Cincinnati, Marquette, Providence, Rutgers, USF, Syracuse and Villanova.  All nine games will be played at the state-of-the-art Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

For the sixth time in seven seasons the Pirates will travel to Marquette.  They'll also head to DePaul and Providence for a second straight season.  Other road contests for Seton Hall include Georgetown, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and St. John's.

In all, Seton Hall will play 12 games against teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year (including LIU and Norfolk State from the non-conference schedule) and three NIT teams (LSU, Washington and Stony Brook).  Ohio State, a 13th NCAA team, is a possible opponent on Nov. 18.

All game dates, times, as well as television and radio information will be announced at a later date.

Seton Hall will open the 2012-13 campaign with the University of Missouri at Kansas City on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Walsh Gym on Seton Hall's campus.  Season tickets are available by calling 973-275-HALL.
