Borawski and Marshall Named New Assistant Coaches

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J.Joanna Borawski and John Marshall have been named Assistant Track & Field Coaches as announced by the Seton Hall Athletic Department on Aug. 10.

 

Borawski competed for the Pirates last season and excelled in the javelin.  Seton Hall’s all-time record holder with a throw of 45.66 meters, she won four javelin events last year and was an All-BIG EAST performer and NCAA regional qualifier.  Borawski, a 2006 graduate of Miami University, also competed for the RedHawks.

 

Marshall, a 1984 Olympian, has been a member of Head Coach John Moon’s track & field coaching staff for the last four years, but will now serve full-time.  A former All-American at Villanova University, Marshall spent four years as an assistant on the Wildcats’ coaching staff, before being promoted to head coach for another four seasons.
