Kathy Matta, a veteran member of the Seton Hall athletics staff, was named Associate Athletics Director/Recreational Services in 2004.  She began as a graduate assistant in the department before earning the title of Assistant Athletics Director/Recreational Services in 1990.  In her current role, Matta oversees intramurals, club sports and instructional programming at her alma mater.

A 1987 graduate with a degree in finance, Matta was a three-year member of the Seton Hall fencing team.  In 1989, she completed her M.P.A., also at Seton Hall.

Matta, a native of Lakewood, N.J., resides in Chatham.
