PROVIDENCE, R.I.-- The BIG EAST Conference announced that 145 Seton Hall student-athletes have been named BIG EAST Academic All-Stars. To be named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star, the student-athlete must have received a varsity letter in a BIG EAST-sponsored sport and attain a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA) for the fall and spring semesters of the 2007-08 Academic year.

Softball and women’s soccer led the Pirates with 17 Academic All-Stars, while baseball and men’s soccer closely followed with 16. Volleyball (15) and golf (6) had all but one member of its squad receive the honor.
